We are really excited that your search has brought you here. Whether seeing our sign on Carefree Highway, searching online, or receiving an invitation from a friend or neighbor, we are delighted that you are considering visiting Desert View.

We all were new at one time, and we remember what it’s like. So we’ve provided the information below, knowing that it’s easier to venture into a new place when you know what to expect.

About Us

We are a non-denominational, Christian Bible based Church. To learn more about our history, our people, our beliefs, and statement of faith, click HERE.

Location

We are located at the corner of Central Ave. & Carefree Highway in North Phoenix. Our address is 105 West Carefree Highway, Phoenix, Arizona 85086. Please call the main office with any questions at 623.298.4900.

We worship on Sunday mornings at 9:00AM & 10:45AM (identical services).

Kids are welcome to attend worship services. We also offer a variety of Sunday morning programs for children and youth.

Childcare is provided for newborns and toddlers.

We have Sunday School for children ages 3 thru 6th grade during both services, and for youth in Jr. and Sr. High School during the 9:00AM service. Stop by our Information Kiosk to learn about our safe & secure check-in procedure.

Sunday Mornings

About 1450 people attend Desert View Bible Church each Sunday, and we have dozens of volunteers working hard to make sure all visitors are welcomed and encouraged.

Our congregation spans a range of ages and backgrounds. You’ll see people dressed in all styles—from shorts and jeans to suits and dresses.

Each service lasts for one hour and fifteen minutes. We encourage you to fill out the visitor’s card that you will find in the bulletin so that we can send you more information. We will not visit your home unless you invite us to do so. Also, we don’t expect our visitors to give, so feel free to let the offering plate pass by when it comes down your row.

After Service Fellowship

We welcome you to stick around after service, visit our Newcomers Information table, and enjoy some refreshments. This is a great opportunity to meet new people.

Newcomers Luncheon

If you are new to our fellowship, we invite you to come to our next Newcomers Luncheon. Share a meal with us and find out more about the story, mission, and ministries at Desert View Bible Church. Meet our staff and shepherds and hear from our founding and Senior Pastor, Sandy Mason. Children of all ages are welcome.

Luncheons are scheduled approximately once per quarter. To sign up for our next luncheon, please contact our Director of Connections, Kathy Sparks, at 623.298.4908 or email her by clicking HERE.

Community Groups

Another way to get connected would be to attend one of our Introduction to Community Group classes where you can explore the idea of a community group and learn what is involved. We have these classes every quarter and registration is limited to 14 people. Community Prayer Walk

If you are not ready for a visit during a Sunday service, please feel free to check out our campus anytime. We have a wonderful Community Prayer Walk where you can enjoy a nice outdoor hike leading to a large wooden cross that can be seen from Carefree Highway.

There are park benches along the hike to enjoy the beautiful view of the surrounding North Valley. Look for the Community Prayer Walk sign located on the Southwest side of our parking lot.
