Operation Christmas Child

Last year Desert View packed 756 shoeboxes in the middle of Covid and was such a blessing to scared and hurting children all over the world.

This year our VBS kids raised enough money to purchase supplies for 400 boxes which they packed on October 22.

Our goal is to provide a total of 1,200 boxes this year. Help us complete our goal by picking up shoebox(es) in the lobby October 24 or 31 and returning them filled by November 14.

If you are unable to attend services in person yet, you can still participate by building a shoebox online.  Please click HERE to Build a Shoebox Online.

Covid-19 Update

Since Covid-19 continues to be an active concern, here's how we are working to protect each other as we continue to meet in person for worship and ministry:

  • We are providing for socially-distanced seating in our auditorium and in our other ministry venues.
  • We have hand sanitizer available at strategic spots throughout our facility
  • We carry out cleaning/disinfecting activities before, between, and after all of our services.
  • Use of face masks is optional - please use your own discretion.

If you're unable to be with us in person, our services are live-streamed at 9am and 10:45am each Sunday (see information below).

Thank you for helping us as we seek to continue to worship together while we help our community address the ongoing pandemic. See you in church!

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” – Joshua 1:9
