The mission of the DVBC Women's Ministry is:
*To draw women into the transforming presence of Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit and the Word of God
*To inspire women in all seasons of life to grow in their faith as they walk together - connecting, worshiping, serving, and discipling.
Women's Bible Study
Starting the week of September 9.
There are 4 options for study this year:
1) The MAIN Bible study offering this year will be a study of the Old Testament book of Genesis from NavPress. The option will require 2-3 hours of homework per week (Days and times of groups vary.) NOTE: Groups begin meeting the week of September 9, 2025, and continue through 2nd semester. Registration fee is $45 for the entire year and includes all study materials.
2) If you are looking for a class with NO HOMEWORK, Anita Gibson is leading a study in Genesis as well. It will meet on Wednesdays, 9:15-11:30am starting September 10. Registration fee is $45 for the entire year and includes all study materials.
3) This class uses Kay Arthur’s Precept Upon Precept, a deeper-level study of Genesis using the inductive Bible Study Method. You will spend approximately 3 hours a week studying. Class time will be spent in challenging and thoughtful discussion, with plenty of time for individual participation. There are two groups on Wednesdays, and one group will meet Thursdays, 9:15-11:30am. all continuing through 2nd semester. Registration fee is $30 for the year. Participants will need to purchase their own book(s).
4) This Bible study will follow the book “Behold Your God: Rethinking God Biblically” by John Snyder. "Not just an emotional experience, expect a complete transformation. It can happen in your heart, in your home, in your church, and in your world." (This class is only on Thursday mornings from 9:15-11:30am with Rosemarie Miller as the leader.) NOTE: This group study begins on Thursday, September 11. Registration fee is $30 for the year. Participants will need to purchase their own book.

Women's Retreat
Lost Canyon in Williams, AZ, Sept. 12-14.
Join us for another incredible weekend of connection, fellowship, & fun at the Women's Retreat. This year we will return to the Lost Canyon Young Life Camp in Williams, AZ.
